If your mirror is mounted with glue or flush mounting clips you may skip down to step 2. Step one covers removing and replacing mirrors using the special j-clips provided with your kit.
Remove and discard your old mirror clips. We recommend a helper to hold the mirror in place while removing your clips.
At the top of the mirror about 2 inches in from the corner make a mark with a pencil. This is where your new clips will go. Do the same for the other 3 corners of your mirror(see fig.1)
Replacing your mirror clips.
Remove your mirror and set aside.
Hold a mirror clip up to each mark and trace the oval slot on the wall with a pencil. (see fig.2)

Repeat this step for the other three clips.
Now drill or punch a 3/16'' hole at the top of each slot and insert the wall anchors.

Finish the job by mounting the four clips leaving the top two clips a little loose and in highest position. Now set your mirror back in place starting with the bottom first, then adjust left to right before tilting the mirror upright and locking in place
by sliding the clip down over the top of your mirror.
You are now ready to move on to step two.
Installing your bevel kit.
Carefully un-pack your bevelit kit.
Leave the protective square tabs on the face of your mirror kit until they are installed. This will protect your mirror from scratches during installation.
Note: Four sided kits will include an additional bottom strip and 2 additionl corners.
Because of the unique design of your kit you can extend the width of your mirror up to 3'' overall. This is done by overlapping your side bevel strips up to 1 1/2'' per side. This will allow you to cover old clip holes in the wall or fill that hard to paint gap between the mirror edge and the adjacent wall.
The bevelit kit is pre-taped at the factory. You need only peel the backing and stick um on. The process can be done in under ten minutes however we strongly recommed you take your time. Test fit your pieces before pulling the mounting tape backing.
When you are ready, peel the tape from one of the side strips. Start by setting the bottom in place then slowly tilting upright while leveling until you make contact. Give your strip a little push and your ready to move on to the other side.
Note: When installing a 4 sided kit, you must start with the bottom strip then proceed to install the sides as shown.
Setting the top strip is a breeze however you do not apply it the same way as the sides. Instead you will hold the strip up at an angle and gently set it down on top of the two side strips and roll it forward until you make contact with the mirror.

You should use a level if you are not following the edge of your mirror as a guide.
Place your corners and peel off the packing tabs. A little glass cleaner and your looking good.
